Building Your International Voiceover Business
(Not Just for Spanish!)

Friday, 4:30-6pm
Spanish - All levels of experience.

Listen to Amy describe her session.

Note: This program is intended for foreign language voice talent of all languages. This is NOT just for Spanish speaking voice actors.

This program will be presented in English.

Amy has 15 years experience as a bilingual voice talent and has watched the industry evolve into the lucrative at-home business it can be today. Her VOICE 2010 session will encompass subjects such as how to get started and where to look for work in your language. She will discuss some new ways foreign language talents are getting their voices heard. For the more experienced talents, Amy will talk about how to increase your existing talent base, cover foreign language demos, web site creation and finish with some of the more traditional ways to make money as a foreign language voice talent.

ABOUT AMY TAYLOR:

Amy Taylor’s voice can be heard in many areas of voiceover - as Detective Evans on the CSI NY video game, on TV ads for Liberty Travel and South Beach Diet as well as radio campaigns for GE, Clorox, IAMS, Orbitz.com, and Mercedes Benz. She is also the voice you hear when you call Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall and The Beacon Theatre – and those are just the English clients! Amy has lent her Spanish voice to Nintendo Wii, Dove, iVillage.com, Dannon/Activia, and Nestle, among others. Amy Taylor got her start in 1995 as a news anchor in Puerto Rico. It was essential to speak flawless English and Spanish for this position. Amy then worked as a radio personality in Connecticut for 10 years. In 2006, she left radio to work as a full time voice actor and found once again that being bilingual was truly beneficial. Amy finds that her clients like “one stop shopping” of hiring a talent who can do the job in 2 languages plus translate the copy. Some clients who’ve hired Amy to do voice work in Spanish and English are Domino’s Pizza, Verizon Wireless, Planned Parenthood, Kaiser Permanente, and SIRIUS XM Radio.  This year, Amy was honored to receive the 2009 Voicey Award for “Best Female Voice.”
