Social Networking is the newest buzzword for building your business. You’re probably already on Facebook or Plaxo, or Linkedin! Or perhaps you Twitter every chance you get! And you might even be Blogging on a regular basis! But what the heck are these things and how can you use them to your advantage as a marketing tool for your voiceover work?
Well, Dave Courvoisier and Terry Daniel are two of the most knowledgeable guys you’ll find anywhere who actually understand this whole Social Networking thing. During Friday’s General Session you’ll not only learn the “lingo” of Social Networking, but you’ll also learn what it means to you as a voice actor, and how to put this amazing high-tech tool to work for you to build your voiceover business.

ABOUT TERRY DANIEL
Terry Daniel first became interested in voiceover when he began working a radio host reviewing movies. He then grew into becoming a professional DJ for a smooth jazz station, as well as alternative rock station, After this, he moved into working as a marketing executive for Clear Channel and CBS Radio. It was after this career move that Daniel broke free into his own endeavors and began to move into his voice over talent niche.
Today, Terry Daniel specializes in voice overs for commercials, Internet podcasts, books and various business projects. He has quickly made his way into the top ranks of being one of the most recognized voice talents in the industry, which has led to his association with corporations, businesses and nationally recognized voiceover organizations. Terry has voice corporate projects and commercials for corporations such as Apple Computers, Sprint, Lifetime Fitness, United Way, Hallmark, McDonalds, Great Clips and hundreds of others who need the perfect voice. This also includes exclusive work that he has done for the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
This is Terry’s first appearance at VOICE as a Presenter. At VOICE 2008, Terry voiced daily postcasts from his booth in the Exhibit Hall, something he very well may be doing again for VOICE 2010.

Dave Courvoisier is one of our VOICE 2010 co-hosts and his complete bio can be seen on the Co-host page. Since the advent of Social Networking web sites and services, Dave has been right in the middle of things. He and Terry Daniel have been friends for years, and their teaming up for this General Session is a natural.
