Your Voiceover Demo
Thursday, 4:30-6pm
All levels - with emphasis on beginning and intermediate

Listen to Keith describe his session.

If anyone knows about what makes a good voiceover demo, it’s Keith Carson. His production company, Top Hat Productions, receives voice-over demos almost on a daily basis. According to Keith, the sad truth is that most of them aren’t worth the time or money that was put into making it. It’s not necessarily that the talent isn’t good, but rather they have made serious mistakes in the production and/or packaging of their demo.

This VOICE 2010 session will teach both the beginner and talent with limited experience the proper way to produce and package their demo to make sure it gets to the top of the pile, and that it gets listened to. Even experienced professionals will learn some “tricks” on demo content and packaging. Participants will be walked through the process step by step, and provided with the information to do it right the first time.

You’ll hear examples of actual demos, both good and bad, so you can learn from the mistakes others have made. In an industry where talent buyers make decisions quickly, often based on what they hear within the first few seconds...  there is nothing more vital to your success than making the right demo.
