While you’re at VOICE 2010, you’re going to be loaded up with tons of information to help make your voiceover career better than ever! All this information, the new contacts, and the new friends you make can be overwhelming. So, we’ve invited Kristine Oller, a career strategist, to present a 90 minute talk that will help you become more efficient with your voiceover business. She will be guiding you through the process of making plans (yes, even though your schedule is unpredictable), choosing priorities (yes, even when everything seems equally important), and building relationships (yes, even if you are a total wallflower). You will learn simple strategies that will free you from overwhelm and allow you to take the actions that will make THIS your best VO year yet.

ABOUT KRISTINE OLLER:

As an organizational expert and career strategist, Kristine Oller specializes in helping high-achieving, creative artists nationwide refine, streamline, and boost their careers to levels of higher stature and increased income. Just some of the top-tier voice talents who have consulted with her include: Pat Fraley, Wil Wheaton, Ann DeWig, Eliza Jane Schneider (South Park), Julie Williams, and Bob Souer.

After graduating from Linfield College in Oregon, Kristine returned to her native Los Angeles and earned membership in SAG, AFTRA, and Equity during a decade spent as a working actress. During that time, she investigated the world of voice overs by taking Pat Fraley’s audiobook workshop and studying privately (for a year and then cutting her demo) with Nancy Wolfson. She knows firsthand about following one’s dream - and about choosing which dream to follow - having personally made the transition from working a series of part-time jobs to support her pursuits to becoming successfully self-employed in the area of her passion. Every day, Kristine guides others do the same.

Author of the book Feeding Your Focus: How Creative People Can Move Forward Faster and Achieve Sustained Success, Kristine served as the national columnist on organizing for BackStage, and the national columnist on career strategy for The VoiceOver Insider. She is also the creator of the popular Networking BootCamp: Your Protection From Rejection: How to Build the Relationships You Need Without Feeling Icky, Intrusive, Aggressive, or Needy.
