From East:
Take I-8 or 52 West to I-15 and follow directions as coming From South.

From South:
(South of I-8, take 805, I-5 or I-15 North and follow directions below)

• I-5 North to 163 North or Rt 56 East then follow From North
• 805 North to I-15 North or 163 North

Take 163 or I-15 north to Rancho Penasquitos/Poway Road exit. (163 will merge with I-15)
LEFT at end of ramp and go up the hill to Carmel Mtn Rd. (first intersection after going under Rt. 56) - Look for the Carl's Jr.
RIGHT on Carmel Mtn. Rd. to 2nd light (Freeport Rd.)
LEFT on Freeport Rd. to 13639 - right side of street.

If you are carpooling from the south, you can take the HOV Carpool lane, which will exit at Ted Williams Pkwy/Route 56. Take Rt. 56 WEST and follow directions as if coming from the North.

From North:
I-15 south to Ted Williams/Rt. 56
WEST on Rt. 56 to first exit - Rancho Penasquitos Bl.
At bottom of ramp - GO STRAIGHT - DO NOT TURN
You are now on Carmel Mtn. Rd.
Go East to 2nd light (Freeport Rd.)
LEFT on Freeport Rd. to 13639 - right side of street

Alternate Routes coming from North (Orange County, LA):
There are three routes South from areas North of San Diego:

• 1) Take 10 or 91 over to I-15 and travel South towards San Diego, following directions as coming From North.
• 2) Take I-5 South to 78 East, then exit on I-15 South. Follow directions as coming From North.
• 3) Take I-5 South to 56 East. See directions for coming From Coast.

From Coast:
Here's a shortcut so you don't have to go up to 78 or down to 52:

Coming from the North (driving South on I-5):
Take I-5 South to the Carmel Valley Rd. - Rt. 56 exit
Go East on Carmel Valley Rd until it turns into Rt. 56 (about 1/2 mile).
Stay on Rt. 56 East for about 8 miles.
EXIT at Rancho Penasquitos Bl.
LEFTto Carmel Mtn Rd.
RIGHT to Freeport Rd. and up hill to 13639

Coming from the South (driving North on I-5):
Take I-5 North to Rt. 56 East (Stay in right lanes after the 5/805 merge
Stay on Rt. 56 East for about 8 miles
EXIT at Rancho Penasquitos Bl.
LEFT at the end of the off-ramp and go under the bridge.
RIGHT at first intersection (Carmel Mtn. Rd. - Carls Jr. on opposite corner)
Go East to the 2nd light (Freeport Rd.)
LEFT on Freeport Rd. to 13639 - right side of street just after slight bend to right.
